This is a homage to the old Rock Hudson/ Doris Day rom com movies from the 1960's. Renee is charming and Ewan oozes cool in this sophisticated, tongue-in-cheek romantic comedy. Everything about this movie is just non-stop cloud-nine fun - the costumes, the sets, the soundtrack... You're just transported into 1960s kitsch for nearly two hours of film. Its style is indulgent to the extreme, but you can't help loving it! The twist at the end is unexpected and hilarious, and the hammy acting is spot on.

An added bonus is the frequent appearance of David Hyde Pearce (plays Niles in Frasier) basically playing Niles in 60's New York, and that's enough to entertain. He is teamed with an excellent love interest partner, and there are some classic 'Niles' moments which are hilarious.

Even the soundtrack was really enjoyable, with the likes of Sinatra and Michael Buble, with the last track being sung by Renee and Ewan.
