Angels walked on earth today,
and kept the devil's work at bay
I walked the path many a mile
and stopped to talk to God awhile.
He told me to be patient and wait,
and not be in a panic state
to sit and rest and be at ease
and do his Will, it's Him I please
For tomorrow may never come you know
today it's time to feel the glow
to rest and glory in His peace
And to calm the angry beast
