who am I?

I have been in a whirlpool of blame,
hatred, loneliness, and joy.
A trail of pain, suffering, and healing.
I have walked in the light and traveled through the shade.
I have avoided getting to the top
and I have pushed to get to the bottom.
I have no self-esteem, no confidence
but I do believe in myself.
I am a twisted person
with a straight forward agenda.
I am weird, crazy, misunderstood, and simple.
I am dust, I am dirt. I am priceless, I am gold.
I am very good and I am very bad
or I am just very good when I am bad.
I am all I am nothing.
I am begining i am the end
i am death that brings new life.
i am love and i am hated
i am forgotten and apreciated
BUT...
In the end it doesn't matter because I just AM!
So I ask of you, beg of you,
demand from you to just LET ME BE!!!

You are neither good nor bad.
You are YOU.
Good and Bad are just opinions/judgementsl No substance. They don't exist outside the head.

"In the end it doesn't matter because I just AM!" Thats all.
nice write

If my observations are right you have examined your life thouroughly and have had people trying to tell you whats best for you when you are the only one who really knows.
I also feel you are about to embark on a new challenge in life's journey. You may not know where you are going or how you are going to get there, but you know you will arrive.
I especially like the move from "blame to joy" and
"pain to healing".
You are also right when you say "In the end it doesn't matter". Life is a journey where how others react to us tells us how good our relationship with God is, or how well we relate to ourselves and no one has a right to dictate what path or motive another must choose.

You are human, full of contradictions, not knowing the answers, trying to fathom a bizarre world. Welcome to the club. Nice poem. handshake

Hi, chocolatefairy,
I have no self-esteem, no confidence but I do believe in myself. And, so we all deal with life's apparent contradictions. Hopefully, we will all be fortunate enough to recognize and embrace not only those that LET ME BE but also ourselves.
