May there be peace for you in Heaven, up there in God's loving hands. May there be peace for you in Heaven, even though, sometimes, I don't understand.
I never had the chance to really say good-bye; never had the chance to rreally hold you near. I never had the chance to say how much you really meant to me; oh how I wish you were here.
Tell our families and friends I miss them and I shall see them once again. Oneday, you and I will be reunited, up there in God's promised land.
May there be peace for you in Heaven, up there in God's loving hands. May there be peace for you in Heaven; I think now I finally understand.

About this poem:
Wrote this poem for anyone who had lost a loved 1 to an illness or something else. It's about missing them, not telling them enough how you cared before they left this world, and then realizing that God had other plans for them in Heaven.

Loss is a hard poem to wrap one's arms around. It's good that the poet has found Peace in Heaven.
