Forgotten Bones

Words that were lost for centuries
just found again to hurt.
Smiles, that once were all to you,
are now just ashes from tomorrow.

Future and past blend together
into one unhappy harmony,
the sounds of flesh-eating flies
and rotten screams.

Dig them up,
let them taste sunlight again
and fill your soul and mind
with forgotten nightmares.
Forgotten bones.
