Years down the line A memory takes me on a journey To a cottage far away. A light flickers through it's window To strangers amid the night.
Deep within stone walls A story let loose, My mind understanding The love. Unconditional Love, Warriors have no tears.
I passed the old town once This town has no skeletons Or ghosts that I once knew Hidden in the shadows My steps secure.
Taking no refuge From rain dancing higher Than the half withered hedge Staring at molehills, once mountains A bridge of thoughts in a river ferrying me home

About this poem:
I just let my mind wander to where I was born and what it would be like to go back there. The line I used Warriors have no tears has to do with my mum she hadn't an easy life but she never cried about it just was a true warrior.
