Today an old couple kissed in the middle of the street. Time ceased in mid traffic as their pothole became their retreat. Thats when I knew I had to find you Heaven knows my humble plea. Even if it takes eternity, I'd search the concrete jungle to the congo deep. A thousand hurricane Sandy's couldn't keep you from me. Tomorrow will be sweeter with you right beside me. Today's the day I met you because yesterday's dream woke me. Alone at the bar in a club full of people eye to eye the scenery, 90 proofing what's bottled up inside until they're stress free. It's singles night and where could you be, possibly hidden in cupid's cliche'd fray waiting for yours truly? As someday permeates through a few stoic faced hopefuls and the DJ contiues to play through a few stolen moments where are you? I'll find you. Your out there, flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone until the next chapter.

I think this poem is very sweet and the thought behind the poem shows, a person with a deep sensitivity and lots of hope and love.
Sometimes it is the picture the words pain that is the main thing, I can imagine the elderly pair retreating into a hole in the ground to be alone, just the two of them finding love, love lost, and love found.
Thank you for the privilage of letting me read your poem Cloudy58
