Patience

Sometimes I stare so hard it startles her,

As feelings deep inside her stir.

Each long lash shines a chestnut brown,

Her face should never bare a frown.

As moonlight sets her hair a glow,

A soft whispering current flows.

Such supple lips of radiant red,

Lust trails knowledge through her head.

Her smile puts me in a trance,

If only I could catch her glance.

One finger at a time,

So delicate and divine.

Sense of courage and strong will,

Those eyes can give a glare to kill.

Never able to admit defeat,

As her heart skips a beat.

A soul that always will be free,

I pray one day you’ll come for me.

I will wait until I am told,

For this deity I long to hold.

To me one day you will confess,

How conflicted and distressed.

I will pull you close and say,

Tomorrow is another day.
