Untitled

If I gave you a dozen roses, and held your hand in mine; if I kissed your lips so sweetly, would you tell me you were mine? Could I hold you til tomorrow and whisper sonnets in your ear; make love to you completely and hold you; so lovingly, my dear? My heart will be pounding, and I'll be lost in your eyes, I want you forever; I'll still have butterflies. I would tell you I love you, as we lay there in ecstasy. Drifting into an oasis, beleaguered by none, not God himself. We'd sit and watch the stars, listen, to the songs of the fog-less night, the hoots of a distant owl, the choral crickets weaved bow, and the hoarse beating cackle of a dominant crow. The love in the air would engulf us, as its aroma, would surely flow. You and I would come together, as one loving soul, one that true love, could only bestow. I love you my angel, this I will make sure, to always let you know.
