I ask not for silver or gold, I ask not for riches untold All I ask Jesus is to be like you To be like you in all I say and do.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous But God you deliver him out of them all Help me to always be patient and hear you when you call.
My life is not perfect nor do I claim to be I only want my life Lord to be hid in you Christ, you see.
I dont want fame or fortune All I want is that my life You hewn I know that for me You will be coming soon
So Lord today all I ask and pray is that you help me to walk in the straight and narrow way And use me my talents to give you glory each day.
Amen!

About this poem:
I had been asking God for an Ezekiel experience but I realized that for this to happen I had to be more and more like Him each day. At the workplace its not easy when you have a controlling supervisor who believes that she causes the sun to rise and set and that what she does is perfect. I have to seek God each day for strength patience and love to deal with her. This is just one of my many poems. I have written a lot and I write books too although they are not published as yet.
