Our Dance

I could tell how she looked at me,
Was with her friends but she broke free...
In my arms she whispered softly,
To demonstrate our passion apparently...

On the floor we made our stands,
Then upon her hips I placed my hands...
With the rhythm we slowly swayed,
Maintained the beat as the music played...

With wolf whistles from the crowd,
Pressed me close ignoring cheers so loud...
Indeed I spun her around on spot,
Our feverish excitement was boiling hot...

She smiled bright as I hoisted high,
Dipped her low and heard the crowd sigh...
Her glittering eyes found my heart,
Completely entwined no end nor start...

I could tell how she looked at me,
Without this girl my life would be empty...
Once this relationship was birthed,
I knew my life would be forever cursed...

(CHORUS)
She told me,
That she would never hurt me...
But we'll see,
Has anyone ever made you feel that way...
