Notes from coffee shop at the edge of the universe

The distance between you and Purpose is the distance
between you and acceptance, and what you’re accepting, Poet,is NOW,
because NOW holds your spiritual purpose.

Welcome to the journey, and the coffee shop at the edge of the universe.

Acceptance equals your Purpose's presence, and your ego equals its absence.

Remember that, Poet, the next time you disagree with the universe.

Everything the universe offers,
your ego rejects, ….and within those offerings, Poet, there’s purpose.
(And outside them, there's not?)
Exactly. It’s not a coin toss, Poet. It’s discernment.

Peace is created, not found,
which means it’s always available,
regardless of your circumstances.

Caught between the Alpha and the Omega,

Poet stopsfor a cup of coffee.
(And?)The conversation begins.

“We all need someone we can bleed on.” -- The Stones

It’s better to bleed than to become infected,
but best, Poet, is to clot, and learn from the injury.

On the Path, the choice is HOW, not IF,
and the HOW is always loving,
and upward.

Your surroundings can inspire it,
but only your thoughts
can create it.
(What?)
Serenity.

“There are times when I dance too close
to the fire.” -- Poet, to Erroneous
“Tempting fate is an alluring lover.” -- Erroneous, to Poet
Desires belong to your ego, …. and so do you, Poet, if you accept them.

The distance between you and serenity
is the distance between you and a thought, ….
and the thought, Poet, though allusive, is always available.

Your thoughts flow directly
to the universe, while your actions
filter through the tickings of the time,

but both are your gifts, Poet,
and bothmake a difference,
but whether positive or not, depends on their elevation.

Welcome to their elevation, Poet.
(And to the coffee shop at the edge of the universe?)
Depends on their elevation.

Within every advantage, there is a disadvantage,
and within every disadvantage, there is an advantage.

This is the spiritual
balanceof the universe, Poet, and it promises you
an upward passageway, regardless of your circumstances.
Pretty cool, uh?

[Poet agrees, but realizes, too,
that it’s the end of excuses, which makes him nervous, to say the least.]

Regardless of its complexity, the moment contains
only two passageways; ego, and Purpose.
Welcome to your choice, Poet,
and to the journey your choice creates.
“You are that which you are seeking.” -- Saint Francis

The only passageway worth seeking is UPWARD,
and the only accessto UPWARD is love.
Happy trails,Poet.

Accept where you are, and then improve, but only what’s yours to improve. (Me, right?) Pretty much.
Your spiritual destination is IMPROVEMENT, which begins with willingness, and continues with love.

So, Poet, you willing? [she is, which is good, because the whole
improves as its pieces improve, and the only piece Poet can improve is herself.]
