Gods gift

In the fire light he looks across the flickering flames
Safe in the shadows he wore a smile
priceless is the treasure he saw
Oh you can say
He is in awe
Well who would not be
Has another got the treasure
I ask thee
The boy he calls son
The daughter like the mother
Oh tis a beautiful sight
That is a miracle to any one
Close the eyes brother
Praise the lord
And bless the sight
Distance is the angels
That memory hold tight
Mother lover best friend
Oh tis none can replace
Imagination of no end
Days come and go
Yet each morning you see her face
Each night you know
Her breath holds your heart
Her tresses fall across your chest
Her body is your other half
Something you won’t hold in jest
Because as the sun surely from slumber lift
Words of a poet won’t salute
The lords precious gift

After thought ,
Treasure her love her devotion
Respect her mind body and soul
You a mere male
Have no words of the notion
As you read my tale
The blessing of fate
The wonder of gods goal
When she walks at your side
For that is your shadow
The dignity that won’t pale
Thank you for reading my words
Because reality is her dignity and respect is the blessing we mere males can only repay
The mother of our children
The friend who shares
The worldly path we travel q

About this poem:
I am but a poet a horseman and recorder of life and reality
I have seen my mother and father battle life’s journeys
Tis lore and harmony that I write about the true meaning of what is seen this poem is about the thoughts of a mere male who believes that there is two in life not one
The heart is one the soul is one yet together two bodies are one thank you for reading my works
