Even When I Sleep
Today I have awaken to another journey and miles to leap
But even when I sleep
I see visions of you in my sleepy eyes
No surprise
we’re caressing, holding, touching, kissing
And what’s missing - is you
Because - you’re not here.
We’re too early in this dream for it to end.
So we move forward with pleasure and then…
We’re awakened by a noise in the night
I'm anxious to get back to sleep
So that I can make this right
I want to continue the sensual play
Because even when I sleep
I want you to stay
As you and I
Laugh, plan and love
It gets deep and nothing stands above
Even when I sleep
I feel you, I smell you, I imagine
What this life could be
Because with this much passion
Even when I sleep
Your’re always – With Me
As I move into the next phase
Even when I sleep
I won't weep, but look forward
to the next time we meet
and the next time I fall asleep

Sometimes you may see someone that you know or even see someone in a dream that you have never met before. As the dream progresses you find that this person is perfect for you. Their touch is so beautiful. The moment is so soft and sensual. Your mind and body explodes with physical and mental attraction. It's almost like love at first sight (only if it weren't a dream).There are times that we are awaken from these sweet dreams and wish we can somehow get back to the moment that we left off at within that dream. We want to get back to that dream to spend more time with that dream-like love that we have never experienced before. In the dream world, everything is possible; so we experience life in a surrealistic fashion - and then we awaken to reality.
This poem is for anyone who strives to fill every loving relationship with the dream-like qualities that you would expect in life and even you sleep
