A memory just being born

Shafts of light spread slowly through the morn.

The misty complexion lingers like a faded memory.

The smell of roses and tulips fill the air, as the sun rises.

Then I saw her standing there, her dark brown hair held up against the sun, it made her eyes shone like diamonds.

I stood in a moment of happiness and I saw through the mist of time, this love I had lost and left behind.

As she walked, she smiled at me, though I know this was only fleetingly.

Her grace, her beauty, her lovely lips, her gorgeous smile and her fantastic kiss.

I remember these well, as she smiled through the misty morn, but it felt more like a thorn.

All I can say eternity its too long for me, I only wish to be with thee.

Alas she has another, a love more deep than mine, for hers it stands the test of time.

All this I felt that summer morn, it was more clear than a memory just being born.
