Teddy bear

When I was made,
My coat was a shiny brown,
My eyes glowed a bright blue.
All the kids always held me,
No one wanted to let me go.

The years have now taken their toll,
My fur has changed to a dull brown,
The blue that once filled my eyes has faded,
And my left eye dangles by a strand.
The kids now find me repulsive,
And just toss me aside.

One lonely evening,
A girl found me in the gutter.
She brought me home,
Sowed up the holes,
And stiched away the pain.

She layed me down beside her,
Held me close while she slept.
Thats when I knew,
The teddy bear was finaly home.
