It just wasn't. For a start most people there were old enough to be my parents. I just don't think everyone being single is enough of a factor to bring together people who would otherwise have zilch in common. I find it easy to mix with people through common interests, but does wanting to meet someone constitute a common interest? I don't think so personally.

u could look at it that way.. or from the angle that some people are 150% themslves on the net..
i know personally i hide nothing but i have met people who if id met in 'real life' they being so quiet or shy..id never know what they are thinking..
but thanks to the somewhat anonymity and safety of the net..they share whats in their head and heart more easily.

Well Cla, i'm only using the forums the last month or so (i'm sure someone will correct me if i've gotten that wrong
) and i went to my first meet last weekend, it was brillant. Great laugh and to be honest the majority of ppl that were there were the same offline as they were online, myself included

Well we're more than happy to have you, There are meets in dub most months hun, so if it's a thing that you are tryin to choose between a dub meet and another one, you don't need to worry about missin the dub meet, they are never really more than four or five weeks bwtween them
