I adore musicians. I used to have a boyfriend who was musician and I really enjoyed the time with him, in fact: them - it was a music band, group, and they were most of the time together, like a family. They lived at nights and slept during the days. My life was totally different then and I liked it very much. I don't remember why we haven't stayed together, it was soooo goooood!!!

LMAO Classical is good, but you have to have a degree in music to even be considered for an audition, especally you'll have to have a MASTERS degree from schools like juliard or burkley to get into a AAA orchestra like philadelphia, boston, new york, and london. All class A and AA dont pay that much.

LMAO, why are you compairing the average musician with legends like bob dylan. you might as well compair us with elvis, and the beatles all started when rock n roll was still young and started a whole new style of rock n roll. ledgends are far few and between. and almost impossable to acheave. I'm talking about your AVERAGE musician dude.

What do you consider "crap".I would NEVER play HIP HOP and PUNK ROCK because I can't stand it. BUT... is it "crap"...Millions of people will say NO it's not. HIPHOP an PUNK is a BIG money maker afterall. Too each it's own. NO MUSIC is "crap" if it sells.

Musicians them selves are mostly to blame for the reputation they have in general.
I remember when the 4 guys in U2 were just average musicians and playing in the local clubs here. Except for their incerdible manager Paul McGuinness, you probably would have never heard of them. The Edge is not a great guitar player by any means and the Bass player could barely keep up with 3 chords at the time.
A musicians life is centered around drink and drugs and women.
I was in the music businees for nearly 20 years but packed it in for aviation years ago.

I love music very much and it is a part of who I am.
I mostly listen to 60's and 70's rock music but have played everything from classical guitar recitals to covers of Hendrix, Clapton etc.

Why is classical the only ones in tune with there senses. Rock n rollers love to party and have a good time, Isn't that in tune with their senses. Hiphop and punk rockers are angery, but isn't that in tune with their senses. R&B, blues, jazz, indian music, gospel, big band..Ex are in tune with their senses. LOL Different strokes for different folks. ALL music is IN TUNE with your senses, just depends how ya fell at the time.

Your right jeeepers, it is a occupation and a passion, BUT society dont see it that way. for example:1) Someones 21 year old daughter gets a boyfriend, brings him home to meet the parents and as soon as they find out he plays music for a living they they dont like him and trys to get her to get a boyfriend with a "real job". 2) try to get a loan for a car or a house, Most financal institutions will look very hard to turn down a musician because they see it as "NOT A STABLE EMPLOYMENT" even thou they have been doing it for 40 years. You ask would i date a pilot or a plumber.....you bet I would, I would date a waitress it she was the right girl.

You should check them out online....lots of trumpet and all kinds of other horns...sorry don't know the instruments....just love the music...very original....you would like it...

A 19-year-old member of the Chicano Brotherhood gang is expected to face a judge on murder charges for the death of a Sur-13 rival.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Guadalupe Solis for the November 6th murder of gang rival Joshua Michael Vega.

The 19-year-old Chicano Brotherhood gang member who goes by the street name "Dreamer" is expected to be arraigned on a murder charge at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Vega was a "Sureño" or member of the Sur-13 gang.

Deputies said Vega and other members of the Sur-13 gang did a driveby shooting against Chicano Brotherhoood on November 5th.

Solis and other members of the the Chicano Brotherhood allegedly retaliated with by leading a driveby shooting off Slaughter Drive outside Edinburg where Vega was killed.:
