people are threats to themselves because they lack education and empathy. the rest is mucus and slime. next time you vote think of how you feel about profiting from your neighbor's wallet, and then think about borders and world history and then reconsider whether it's sensible to post this thread...
i wasnt trying to insult you! ....just tried to put different callendars into perspective... life has got US! you and me and the others! it's infinite and exciting allready! anyways i'm not trying to convert you or anything... :D just saying. take care man, decent conversations on this thread
it is today, (2013 for westerners), we need to speak in those terms! i appreciate religions very much, but i feel the future must be different. nowadays we have a culture of choice and critical thought! (btw if i was to adhere to any religion i'd be a jainist). i live in an extremely religious society (christian orthodox greeks) most of whom dont hesitate to be hostile and aggressive and pimping people around them. but i have witnessed life as a richer situation. i wouldnt be able to talk about altruism if not for christianity, the coran, budhism etc. but at the end of the day i now have the background to deal with my human existence and be faithful to human principals rather than dogma.
what might strike you as weird is that i do not need to believe in god in order to be an ethical person, a person of certain morals that i appreciate and attempt to realize everyday and bestow upon my life. but that is your problem and not mine. what i am implying here is that, as unfortunate as that might be, historically humans mostly needed a god to behave themselves, but we dont need it anymore. so if you mean compared to brutal godless assassins i probably need a god, but compared to my everyday life no thank you, i am a much better person without the arrogance of having one.
from what i can understand "that" characterizes a phenomenon, which isn't that far off, i might be wrong of course so please if you have further info let me know on that, i shall yield.
