Here for a few years it seems. LOL but did you know? In deciding after several years to go back and get a smartphone that is well....at least current android and does more than I need. I thought perhaps as a way to juggle and sort out some things in my expenses I would look over the use of my internet per month as paying on limited amounts at 10 dollars per every extra gig of data access or processed per month that exceeds the given base which for a company such as (unamed) is about a mere 300 mb and than 2 gig and so on. 5 gig needed to allow the use of tethering and surprisingly LTE so far ( where available ) exceeds the speed or cable. wow! so of course I saw a possibility. But just as I am paid to advise others in these matters I of course went to look at how much that DATA amounted to per month. LOL.....over 500 gigabytes per month and when actually busy it is easily twice or three times as much. I don't think I will be canceling my cable connection. At first I thought maybe they were counting my voice modem as part of that number but that was not the case. They used to have a 250 gig cap though they still called it unlimited. They had lifted that for me though I did not request it...and now they have formally stated it on the site for all people. But this LTE is very interesting, I can't wait to find someone in the USA that has the similar interests and try out the voice calling while on the go. This next few years I think we will see the affordability become even so inexpensive that the number of data processors....smartphones..tablets etc. will outnumber the population in such a tremendous way that life will definitely change as we know it. Of course in many Countries this has already taken place....but to see it finally happen here as well will be interesting to me. I think that truthfully the majority of people do not realize that in the USA we may have a lot of cool technology but from traveling from Asia to Eastern Europe and in between I was surprised about one thing that was a constant, and that was even though someone was not even close to wealthy they still could and did/do afford the latest cell devices. Anyway, this may bore most people but I was/am still kinda amazed that I am using that much data and now since I simply turn off the Mobile Data and only allow the cell to pick up my wifi when here at the house and the shop I will be interested to see if and how much that number increases. What is your number? LOL/.
