Gentlejim: How can you call God's word a fairy tale and say "God bless you". Lady you are lost and need to find Jesus before you die or you are going to a very hot place for eternity!
So you believe because you are afraid not to. You don't have 'Christian' values. You are not giving without the expectation of receiving...you expect salvation.... and you believe your God is a monster who sends innocent people to Hell for not seeing things His way. Imagine populating the world with 5 billion Chinese just to condemn them to eternal damnation.
You believe in dogma. You have no faith.

I don't believe that The Bible is the Word of God cos as it is maintained by the human hands. So it can be misinterpreted and it could be edited and changed sometimes. But I believe the concept of "God" from a very different angle not like the Catholics and Christians do. And the Bible is a very noble book. To me God is the existing reality and the existing nature. The whole mechanism of this universe can be mentioned as "The God". And we gave it a human form then this whole mess began. Cos it cannot be compared to a person. If we impersonate this Concept of God to a human form then we all will be in a mess. Bible has got so many scientific issues in it but we people couldn't identified them since the truth has been hidden inside of the beautiful stories like fairy tales. what we do is, we just look at the fairy tales and follow the things according to them and cos of our ignorance we couldn't realize the hidden truth inside it. Sweets ( toffee , chocolates etc ) come to the market with a colorful nice covers and packing. Bible also do the same. But what we are doing now is, eat the packing and cover throwing the sweet away cos of our ignorance.

The concept of God should be large hearted without applying it the Human Qualities. The concept of God which is created by man is full of egoism. Egoism is a human quality and the god must be apart from human behaviour.

The same God that has been taken out of schools and is being removed from everthing else. Those little ones are in a much better and safer place now. To those that continue to sin and disobey...there is a great punishment from a just and Holy God. For prophecy never had it's origin in the will of man,but holy men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit(2 Peter 1:21).
God guided the process, by which the Holy Spirit moved the authors to write down everything he wanted them to write down, in their own words. An infinitely perfect God is certainly capable of preserving his Word. God bless!
