I think it would only bother me if it was difficult to listen to such as a high pitched voice.

I think nothing can ever compensate for meeting in person.
I once talked to a guy on the phone, he had a nice enough voice and was very chatty, and I was really looking forward to meeting, but when I met him, I realised that his photo was about 10 years old, and he was MUCH bigger.
Which is ok, but I felt a little deceived.
And his personality was nice enough, but after half an hour of meeting in person I knew that I would eat him up and spit him out for breakfast.

Well voice does count as well in attraction,i tell you i was sitting in a club in stocholm with some new friends.One of them asked me as you come here quite often so which lady is easier to pick up.I know one of the Gay sitting there in a lady dress with lot of makeup.I pointed my friend thats the one go and ask her.She like to go with every man.He went there talk to him or her and came back soon and told me she looks beautiful but she when started speaking its seems like donkey speaking.
