ya said you run to keep fit?
A six pack is very difficult to achieve. Easier to hit the weights and pack on some muscle.
MADDOG69: If you get to 13 for your height you should be happy.

i don't know how you could get lazy with a young lad sure all the running around with him would keep you right
pedro27: i don't know how you could get lazy with a young lad sure all the running around with him would keep you right[/quotewell you could say i was celebrating for 5 years since he's birth, a true mircle if i told the story.
i remember you were going to get the weight down last year too, i would say instead of aiming to lose any weight i would just focus on lifestyle, i once weighed 18st after a few recurring knee injuries and depression that followed, small changes can make a big difference

yeah ive made two attepts at excerise but at the time i was drinking, and i found i gave up and drank,, but now is a different time, plus ive stoped the drink and im more focused and determined this time. ive also changed my diet no more fast food or fatty food, they say a adult man should take in no than 2000calories a day, so the aim is to burn up alot of cals with excerise and try to eat maybe 1500c food cals.

you were 18stone and lost how many stone?
i lost 6 st in around 6 months, stayed at 12st for a year then went down to just 11st which was too thin for my frame, so i went back up 1 st, i have been this weight for 10 year now im gaining a bit at the minute but it's from weights.
i still enjoy a take away and drink, but if i do them then there is a fast day to follow no food just water and maybe a slice of toast

sounds like you have it under control, which is the key.
jaysus 6stone lost in 6months, guiness book of records..thats good going alright. i must try the fasting, some time.
Don't make a regularly thing of it. The body learns to adapt. Fasting just closes down the metabolism and slows it down. Then next day you're craving sugars and tend to want to eat more.
You'll notice also as you train and loose weight that the body wants to loose less weight. Because it gets more efficient.

oh i forgot your right, they say small amounts 4to 5times a day, to keep the metabolism working proper, and they say 2000cals a day is usally average, so burning up cals and aiming for less than 2000cals,should be progess in weight loss
