Nikogas: For me I was most "lucky" in Hungary.....but that was me, not the country.
Your and mine stomaches are same when i get hungary i dont care who is the luckiest person or nation.After having few beers and good food i feel like the most luckiest person in the world
KremaP: Yes Jack, I know that and I have been to some tribal areas too. And believe me the Mafia is very strong in every country, the only difference is that in some countries it is represented by big scary men with guns and in other by gentlemen in expensive suits. I shall stop now as I don't want to get Ali angry for spoiling his poll.
Has to be Germany. Having lost two world wars and surrendered all trace of humanity in the 20th century, they proceeded to hijack the European Union and its currency, the euro, making a killing in the process. They then gambled with no security on poorer nations by lending them money similar to the trinkets the Pilgrim Fathers gave the native Americans having landed on Plymouth Rock.
And when it failed, the gloves came off. They demanded repayment with interest for their unsecured gamble. Suddenly lesser EU countries were having their budgets scrutinized, not by Brussels or the Hague but by the German parliament in Berlin.
This nation has not changed. The song remains the same.

Germany is still Considered a Powerful and Rich Country
Maybe you misunderstood Ali, Hungary was probably the most wonderful place I have ever been to, even with strangers I was treated with a welcome and much more than a smile, and I had plenty of time to sample a lot of wonderful music and other things that I enjoy immensely. But maybe that was just my experience. If it is anything like it was a few years ago I would happily return and stay there for a indefinite time. Cheers my friend. ;-}

Jean you seem like a generally happy and stable individual yet you have a great excitement and if I have read past posts correctly you have a fantastic feeling that is borderline spiritual when it comes to Scotland. I guess what I am thinking is why not just sell what you can and live out your life there? And in all fairness I don;t want to be a hypocrite so I am and have been seriously thinking of the same for Me and the Country of Hungary. I know that I had a few plans that detoured me but in my Heart that is the place I felt more at home. I felt like I belonged there. Did you feel that way in Scotland as well? Maybe we should just take that big step and don;t look back. Well, it is a thought anyway, in lieu of recent events for myself and people right here in the threads, you just don;t know what tomorrow will bring or if it will be the last. Why not be the place that is the best. I hope you find your special place, I hope we all find our special place! Thanx for the indulgence Ali. back to you. ;-}
