Success in what? Friends? Finding friends on the forums is best for me.
CS isn't good for me in finding a date. Other sites I have better luck finding someone to date in my local area.

The overwhelming majority of successful people on this site are scammers and liars. I am not incriminating Connectingsingles as it is a nice way to meet people.
In response to: I have created this poll to confirm or discard some of the ideas I have on how to meet new people and eventually a soulmate on CS. For instance is finding the "ONE" a number's game or a matter of luck, or a combination of both?

They CONNECT people.
There have been many happy stories over the years, i.e. people getting together, moving even hundreds/thousands of miles to be together, getting married and even CS babies. But.....
Even if you don't meet your soulmate, one thing is for sure..... you can make many friends and even remain friends offline. If nothing else, you can enjoy a debate, a lark, a joke and some interesting inter-action with those on the Forums. It can be informative, educational or just entertaining.
I have learned a lot over time and enjoyed the company of some fabulous people......
