You know that love doesn't work to a formula. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you can find that one special person like prospecting for gold. It takes belief that you can do it, effort to do it, and a little luck thrown into the mix.
You'll be surprised just who is "right" for you if you let down some parameters sometimes and expand your horizons. I've done it, and quite a few others that I've been talking with as well. Their perfect mate has come as soon as they "expanded" or "abandoned" some of their expectations of an ideal partner....

Did you ever see the movie "Somewhere In Time". It took him an eternity to find "the one" and then he did a stupid thing and lost her. There is no perfect one. It's a matter of compromise, luck and patience to find someone that comes close to the standards anyone is looking for.

I think the biggest success of CS is that they DO deliver, they do exactly what it says on the tin......
They CONNECT people.
There have been many happy stories over the years, i.e. people getting together, moving even hundreds/thousands of miles to be together, getting married and even CS babies. But.....
Even if you don't meet your soulmate, one thing is for sure..... you can make many friends and even remain friends offline. If nothing else, you can enjoy a debate, a lark, a joke and some interesting inter-action with those on the Forums. It can be informative, educational or just entertaining.
I have learned a lot over time and enjoyed the company of some fabulous people......

I would suggest getting a book titled The five love languages.
