jac379: I have a bit of a thing for Pete Postlethwaite and something tells me he's not considered classically good looking.

I know what you mean some men while not considered good looking just have something.

Stacerz: in my experience if someone isn't attracted to someone, in a club or whatever then they generally don't approach them so therefore they wont know what kind of a personality they have, unless of course its through a friend, and honestly im the same.

I've never went for a guy whos considered attractive, though those unattractive guys have great personalities and i knew them through friends, though if i were to see an unattractive guy in a club i generally wouldnt approach them, and thats not being shallow, its that i dont want to waste their time, so basically i wont know what their personality.

see, i don't believe people who say looks have nothing to do with it, unattractive people are always chosen last and i've experienced this with men chatting up my friends etc

I still remember whenever my friends got disappointed in their relationship, they always complain about their partner's personality.

I can't get over people willing to settle. So impatient. Had you just waited...

I kissed a lot of frogs, swam in a lot of waters. Eventually at age 38 I did find a great looking woman who also had a great personality and all the skill sets (cooking, sewing, music, etc.) a wife should have. So I married her. Twenty years later here I am swimming around again. I don't know why choice 3 was left off the poll, but I will tell you, if you settle for second best, you are getting what you deserve. I have no interest in choices 1 or 2 since past experience has shown me choice 3 does exist. You just have to look for her and be equally attractive to her.
