peachmelba: Maybe that's why there is alot of blonde people in northern hemisphere because lack of sunshine lack of vitamin d which the sun converts in our bodies hence lack of pigment which has been genetically inherited through the generations....it is also interesting to note that people from the northern hemisphere are more inclined to suffer multiple sclerosis where in African countries it is generally unknown, saturated fats cause disease interesting to note that in Mediterranean countries heart condition is low compared to northern countries Eire England because their diet consists more of fis, fruit ,polyunsaturated fats,,more vitamin d too from sunshine.
yes Peach, MS has a definite link to sunlight or vitamin D. Is called the equatorial shift by neurologists. The further from the equator the higher the incidence of MSin a population. Eskimos are the anomaly to this theory. Maybe their diet protects? Anyway, it is not generally an ailment of darker skinned people.
Just to put it out there. Not really joking but also not looking to conflict with others beliefs of non-beliefs. Ok. so here it is.
If we took the "created in his own image and likeness" in a physical (material) sense. then it would be like God had to have some Body type. But in a deeper sense..( if that is something you can digest) than you could see that when God created "Man" (mankind) in his own image and likeness that this "image and likeness" may be a spiritual non linear likeness that is not temporary and is much more elaborate than a body that lives for x amount of years and then is extinguished. There are people that see this statement in this way. And if that is the case then the manifestation of God in this physical world could be of many things. Life and trees and everything around us. Even as far as mind can conceive because if God is also "Mind" then God is without boundaries. And in reflection we are only confined by the walls we build over the years that seem to close us in.

After all he created us and gave us all free will ? We are his creation !! God's will shall be done.
Yes...each of us were created as spirits just as it says before we ever had a body.
Could we go deeper that maybe God is a male figure! Yes we could! But then since wisdom is spoken of in female form, there must be a Goddess to! So....we have God the Father, the Son, and the HOLY(mother) spirit. And errr....I'm not fond at all of the catholic faith so I'm not headed in that direction with this...
However....MAN would of course want to argue that wouldn't he...
