I have to eat when I'm hungry because I have hypoglycemia. This is a very serious condition b/c my blood sugar can swing dangerously low, causing me to potentially slip into a coma and even die if not given immediate attention. Hypolglycemia is now considered to be even more dangerous than high blood sugar.
