I think if they can truck us ordinary citizens just by using our phone data ...they can as well track ISIS as I am sure that ISIS also using mobile phone's and internet and Facebook to communicate and not speaking to stones in desert.laugh

Australian authorities made 52,017 requests for user data from companies such as Facebook, Google, Apple and Microsoft - or 2870 for every million internet users.

The electronically logged data of mobile, landline voice (including missed and failed) calls and text messages, all emails, download volumes and location information will be mandatorily retained by Australian telcos and ISPs.

most of that i think should be taken with grain of salt

Since the advent of the internet servers, all data processed a server is never deleted, never lost, bit like gmail archive system the archived email = equals url address bla bla and will be stored in googles server for the want of better words for ever and ever...

one lost all my hotmail emails, hotmail went back three or four years and retrieved all my lost email...

who a terrorist is dependent on ones point of view. Myself i believe American Republican Party is the largest terrorist organization ever created.
Which is why Trump watching has become very interesting as he appears to have forced a game change on the Republican party.

So George Bush kicked off the current extensive world wide war and both sides are using all forms of media to push there version of reality.

I just google how does isis utilize internet and lots so called experts are still trying to counter there online activities..

This could be an issue on any OS. The clickjacking techniques outlined by Feross and Guy worked regardless of whether you were on a Mac, Windows or Linux computer. However, as both Feross and Guy pointed out, the attacks they used were quickly patched by Adobe.

Tips mentioned in several answers:
Keep your computer OS, browser, and flash version constantly up to date,
Don't install any software from the web unless it's from a trusted vendor, and you'll be protected from most casual hackers.
If you're worried about your webcam, tape some paper over it when it's not in use.
If you're protecting high-value data, you should take commensurately stronger steps to protect it.

It's about being aware, taking preventive measures in taking care of your privacy...so don't leave your mobile with camera or computer Web camera in the place where you walk naked to change your cloths...because hackers might record it and who knows what someone can do with it...laugh

I don't allow internet-explorer, firefox or chrome to save passwords rather I use a program called RoboForm (money but is best I think) however you can find free password programs.

Personally i distrust Windows virus anti-spy malware protection services particularly Windows Defender, Windows Firewall and Windows Update and have made other arrangements to protect my computers.

At your own risk.
You might consider
Programs like SuperAntiSpyware, Webroot, Bitdefender and Spybot.

look on eBay for
discounte offers for likes of Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus

The following page talks about removing spyware off your Mobile Phone

this offers Anti Spy for Mobile will apparently scans to see if someone spying in your mobile phone.

However to repeat any this sort of activities you engage in please do so at your own risk, like in please don't blame me if something stuffs up...

Setting up a computers protection replacing windows defender, firewall and windows update can take more than one day frigging about.

Whatever you choose to do you be well advised to run back-up programs onto external drive and make recovery disks, myself i happen to have spare hard drive with full program setup installed, plus run few back up programs. Which like all IT stuff get complicated to the extent lot of backup programs actually use windows services to do there thing, the latter of course i shut down and even a program i still use Spybot paid version (that continually complains previously installed teatime registry immunization function is still on my computer) anyway Spybot relies on windows schedule function to run its auto update function, all sorts of unexpected issues can crop up when configuring computer protect in other ways..
confused

Jun 17, 2016 2:08 AM CST do you think the government is watching us?
finally forgot to mention

Paid Spybot program runs (offers to) run its own type of firewall Spybots proxy server, in short as best as i understand when configured Spybot runs all your internet activity through is Spybot server, which is Ok and very good protect but does get a bit intrusive.

In past I always swore by Kaspersky ( which is probably worlds best ) but i decided to jump ship off bill gates thieving program upgrade scams...like in put sp2 in a win 7 computer you've just then committed yourself to eventually install windows ten.
I happen to like windows seven and windows update may not stuff up my computer to force upgrade install. which i believe Microsoft Windows is doing
