September is no good for me because my best mate is getting married on September 21st and I have best man stuff to do including two stag parties. Its a tough job but someone's gotta do it

Yep and Ciarans Birthday bash it 8th August

Since the CS awards meet is in September maybe if the Wexford was moved to October it could be better. You could even make it into a Halloween party. People could even dress up if they wanted to or not if they didn't. Could be a laugh.
Failing that, you could move it to the middle of July because the achill meet is at the end of June, and Ciaran's bday meet is on the first or second week in August so you would have a few weeks between each which would give people some time to save a bit of cash. Particularly if you have weekends away, they can get expensive with accommodation etc.

rosara: as many of you know we are planning to try to organise a wexford meet soon,. we know lots of other meets are going on in the meantime thus we are looking at august. so tick if you think you could make it and which date would suit you best. from the wexies!

Don't mean to keep pushing for October but just wanted to say some people might feel a bit silly or self conscious about fancy dress but if it was halloween they would have an excuse and other people would be going to fancy dress parties around halloween so it might encourage them to throw caution to the wind and just do it.....JMO
