I kinda liked being called a dive gorrestfump: i get a bit annoyed when people call me shallow for being attracted to someone just on looks. obviously if they have the personality of an exhaust pipe then i wont stay with them, but for me, its looks first.. i wont apologise for it..

I don't think it's even worthy of debate. it is looks in the vast majority of cases that initiates the attraction. We always see the person before we talk to them. Nothing shallow about admitting that.

Absolutely. The last woman that really made my heart flutter first came to my attention when she sat next to me in a class and I asked her for a spare sheet of paper. I then realised how gorgeous she was. Now it wasn't until another few weeks when I got talking to her more that the feelings came stronger, but the initial spark came from a physical attraction. I think we all are drawn by looks initially, even if we don't want to admit it.
TOODLES: i think what attracts me first of all is a smile and eyes that shine when they smile it shows that you have a sense of humour and are up for a good laugh with a sense of humour after that the personality has to match it ?

I have the weirdest taste in what is attractive to me! I remember clubbing with some friends (about 5 or 6 single pretty women) and we all had to point to a man we would snog/fancy/whatever... we all totally picked different ones! and some laughed at my choice
so go figure people! attraction is in the eye of the beholder really! having said that I wouldn't kick a hot stud out of my bed for eating Tayto!!!!!!

Personally, there has to be physical attraction but there is no point dating the most beautiful person in the world if you can't get on with them......JMO.
For me, sense of humor comes first. Looks is a bonus.
