gorrestfump: i get a bit annoyed when people call me shallow for being attracted to someone just on looks. obviously if they have the personality of an exhaust pipe then i wont stay with them, but for me, its looks first.. i wont apologise for it..

It's a natural thing to select someone based on how they look.
Basic animal instinct.
You don't hear a person laughin or speaking and go "Oh I'm hot for them."
You see them and you say "I'd like some of that."
It's not shallow at all.
I'd go mad if a fella told me "I love you for your personality."
That's no confidence boost.

I don't think you need to apologise. I mean it works both ways doesn't it, you could be attracted to a persons personality but feel no physical attraction towards them.
I'm the same, I'm also attracted by looks first, but if personalities didn't click, then there's no point really.

yep. its looks for me too , mind you having said that i find a lot of different types of features attractive. so it could be their build or hair , eyes and hands, that kinda thing. actually dotn like pretty boys but yeh, looks do matter! in fact i tried it with soemone that i didnt find particuarly physically attractive although everythign else bout them was good, and it was just a no-no int eh end!------ This poll is Archived ------
