I have many friends of different religions. My neighbors for 47 years are catholic. The nicest, smartest people. What would we do without Catholic Charities. i say try it.

charity need not be denominational, in fact it need be nothing but charity itself.
Adding catholic to 'charity' does nothing to alter the colour the nature or that affect of charity. Catholic is generally added to 'charity' by catholics (and other religions) to alter one's or a group's feeling and views of catholics. Very clever come hither misdirection.
