I clicked bad for one reason only its because I have stuided every major doctrine in the bible .The truth is that the Bible and the Roman Catholic Church's teachings are almost entirely opposed to each other on most of the important fundamentals of the faith.

A cult of Christianity is a group of people, which claiming to be Christian, embraces a particular doctrinal system taught by an individual leader, group of leaders, or organization, which (system) denies (either explicitly or implicitly) one or more of the central doctrines of the Christian faith as taught in the sixty-six books of the Bible .......That would include Roman Catholicism...a cultist fate ends in hell.....Personal investigation is warranted

There are hundreds of millions of Roman Catholics world-wide, yet many are largely unaware of the dramatic differences between the official teachings, practices, and positions of the Catholic Church, and the clear teaching of the Holy Bible. There are multitudes of dedicated Catholics who are spiritually uninformed concerning these differences because of a lack of sound biblical instruction and exposure.....

Please Do Gods will .....It is the personal responsibility of the individual believer to test doctrine (Ephesians 4:14) God wants His children to be like the noble Bereans who "searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so"(Acts 17:11).
...Test everything. Hold on to the good. ( 1Thess 5:21 )....This requires investigation......How do we test everything?....WE test everything by the Scriptures.............. ( I implore you test Romes teachings by this standard )... This is not a game its deadly serious matter your soul in on the line....Investigate.

It is the personal responsibility of the individual believer to test doctrine (Ephesians 4:14) and see if it is "the doctrine of the Lord" (Acts 13:12), "sound" (I Timothy 1:10; 2 Timothy 4:3; Titus 1:9; 2:1) and "good" (Proverbs 4:2; I Timothy 4:6). .. ( I implore you test Romes teachings by this standard ) ...... your soul in on the line. ....Investigate God warns you of this for your own protection...

it is good that you go to church.but religion is not the way to go.church are not innocents as much as people think. religion and church will fall, but God word will never fade away.the holy bible is your blue print for life. if you read the holy bible every day your life will change and others will notice.but you must turn over your whole life to god and be honest about there is total forgiveness from God religion can't offer you that.churchs and religion are run by men and are subjected to error but God word is not subject to error.please remember that God is every where waiting for you to come to him.Jesus Christ die to set you free from sin. being reborn spiritual in Jesus Christ is the most peaceful way of caring and sharing for others, why? because Jesus never lies.he is the way,the truth, and the light for the whole world.may God's blessing and protection be with you always.Go in peace my friend.

Because there are several here that trash anyone that expresses even the slightest belief in God. The idea of a power greater than themselves contradicts what their mommys said about them being the center of the universe.

The real laugh in the majority of them claim to be open minded.

THEY, and they alone can state what you or I believe. Apparently they know us better than we know ourselves. Don't bother arguing that they have your opinion wrong though. If they say you are a mouth breathing, race bating creationist you are no matter what you may think you believe.

But last I checked the United Nations, Oprah and the ghost of Elvis had not backed them up on that so if you with to tell them to go chase themselves you may well be within your rights.

The Roman Gospel is NOT the biblical Gospel...Rome teachs a competle false gospel...

Roman Catholics who believe their church’s teachings regarding salvation cannot be Christians since their church’s doctrine contradicts the Biblical doctrine of salvation. If a person does not know how to be saved, they cannot be saved. And if they do know how to be saved..... Rome's false Gospel........

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be ETERNALLY CONDEMNED! [ Galatians 1:6-9].

I am not saying there are not saved person in Rome...but Rome gospel in dangerous.......It wont save one soul

It is that clear and simple . If you believe the teachings of the Roman Catholic church regarding salvation, you cannot be saved (be a true Christian) since Roman Catholicism’s doctrine of salvation contradicts the Scripture and is therefore wrong. It is a false gospel and falls under Paul's curse in Galatians 1:8-9.

Well it seems people like to go by what others say instead of what Jesus said, when in doubt, look up what Jesus had said. Mark 16:16 ..Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever doesn't believe will be condemned.
I always go by what Jesus had said when there is a confict between who can be saved and who is not.

So each Christian Church has its own version of how to do things, how the sermons are performed, etc. However, if those people believe in Jesus and have been Baptised, they will be saved.

If a person wants to be Roman Catholic, there is no harm done.

I'm on the run from Catholicism. I was born into it and rêjected it in my teens. Going back to it as the OP is now that he's a mature adult is a fine thing to do but it's just not the right thing for everyone.

P.S. Don't go tellin' them priests I'm hiding in a semi-commie country. Cheers. The pennance they'd give me along with the black eye after I told them my confession would tie me up for quite some time.

The fact is Romanism is harmful and its very well may destroy the souls of the unversed who follow it in fact I would go as far as to says you cannot KNOW the bibles doctrines and yet still claim to be a catholic to do YOU must contridict the bibles teachings.

For what I have seen some of the posters in this polls are biblically illiterate and doctrinally dysfunctional.

If I would ask them for example to Pic a doctrine lets see just what YOU have studied such as election, glorification ,grace, incarnation.,justification, redemption, regeneration, sanctification . Trinity. Doctrines of the Father , Son , Holy Spirit, Heaven , Hell, Satan, angels, topology, grace, imputation, predestination, salvation, sin,Jesus prophecies, end time prophecies or the feast system, they would be clueless. They simply would NOT know the information which makes any commentary they may have on just about any biblical topic usless...Because the haven not the slightest clue as to what there talking about..

Only this type of person could possilbe say...If a person wants to be Roman Catholic, there is no harm done.

You also said....I always go by what Jesus had said when there is a confict between who can be saved and who is not.

Lets put your words to the test... Go to this site and review what Romes teaching are in light of the bible..you will never support Rome again if you do and you might give your self a lesson at the same time.I do not make apologies for the TRUTH!..... The TRUTH will be around when the doctrine of Rome and its falsehoods has been turned into ashes!

I only reviewed one section of this site lightly, and noticed that the key scriptures the Catholic Church uses to support the doctrine were not listed in the Web site's refutation. The section was on the Church's forgiveness of sins, with the key scriptures used by the Church bek g John 20:23 and Matthew 16:19:

"Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained"

"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."

Also, the Church does not teach that it as institution forgives sins, or that the priest himself forgives them, but that Jesus Christ, through the priest, does so.

I am not posting these as proof they support the doctrine but just an observation that they are not in the section regarding this issue, at least I could not find the first one.

There have been countless Catholic Christians who by their very lives showed their knowledge of, love for, and union with Christ and His work.

Matthew 16:19....
The context of this verse must be examined if the meaning of binding and loosing is to be discovered. In verses 13-15 Jesus inquired of His disciples concerning other's opinions as it pertained to His identity. After a few responses Jesus inquired of the disciples who they thought He was. Simon Peter answered saying, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God" (v. 16).

Jesus responded to Peter's confession by promising him the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus continued to say, "And whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" (v. 16:19).

The authority to bind and loose was inextricably joined with the possession of the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Those keys belonged to the kingdom and allowed entrance into it just as keys belong to a door and allow one to unlock it, thereby allowing entrance into the particular locale. Peter received the keys by believing and confessing Jesus to be the Messiah, the Son of God.

"Indeed, the confession of Jesus as the Messiah is the key to entrance into the kingdom."

Romans 10:9-10 – “That if thou shalt confess…the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead (then), thou shalt be saved.”
( This requires a personal Choice in a point of time ).
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. ...He who has the Son has life; HE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE SON OF GOD DOES NOT HAVE LIFE. [ John 5:11-12 ]...... ( This requires a personal Choice in a point of time )

This happen all over the world without the aid or Romes false preist system who supposes them self able to remit sin...sadly its laughable

How are saved.?.....As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shames Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."[
Rom.10:8-13] ....

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN WERE NOT GIVEN TO PETER ALONE, BUT TO THE OTHER DISCIPLES AS WELL. After Jesus' resurrection, He spoke to all the disciples, saying, "Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained" (John 20:23).

Joh 20:21 Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you. Joh 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit: Joh 20:23 whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

The key to the kingdom is the Gospel, which is the power of God to salvation to those who believe. Paul said, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth..." (Rom. 1:16).

Peter used the key of the Gospel to open the door for the Jews on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). He also used the key of the Gospel to open the door of salvation to the Gentiles when he preached Jesus to Cornelius (Acts 10). The New Testament does not show Peter exercising special authority beyond this, and it was an authority which was exercised by all the disciples.
In Matthew 16, the Lord Jesus Christ is not making Peter the first pope,( another Roman farce ) but is reaffirming that He Himself is the Rock, the Head of the Church, and that Peter's testimony of Christ is the key whereby the door to salvation and the Kingdom of God would be opened to all who believe.

Churches and religions don't want you to know that you are god; because, they would lose their hold over you and that affects the numbers game, soldiers amassed just in case. Religion is a notion that feeds human divisiveness, even though it's doctrines professs to love all mankind. It is so blatantly in error, I am often amused that people avoid seeing it.

The truth comes to light in the exclsuion of those who "dont believe in their way", and in the wars that further that same divisive quality.

True spirituality is not divisive... and requires no churches, no grouping, because it already is the one from within.

renew the self -or- further the cause for division in humanity? ...hmmm.. the answer to me seems quite obvious to me, though I expect to some, letting go of the imaginary tether to divisive gods and prophets will not be so easy.

laugh please expose for us this limit. A line drawn in the sand or clearly across your patience? Such things could be limits indeed; but, if that boundary is ever moved, they become limitless and thus defy the limit.
