My birthday, I miss my Mother.
christmass and new years eve,i used to be alone for many years.

No one is alone unless you want to be...
How about going to help at the shelters..
cook them a meal...help out and see there faces light up..
How about going to an orphanage..seeing the children..sending some gifts..
Before i got Married i had been single for 8 years..
Never been lonely or alone
I had my Family and if i didnt have that..i would go where there were concerts...singing...or helping out..
You will never be alone unless that is what you wish to be..

i feel absolutely devistated this year. my first without my husband in years. it really is horrible to be single during the holiday's.
i don't even feel the christmas spirit. but then again, there is a new year coming. maybe this year things will get better. who know?

thank god you have your family. i could serve up a million plates, it still won't take away the saddness inside. sometimes you can be in a room full of people and feel more alone than ever. it's part of life.
i am sorry that a lot of people that have family don't know how to relate with those that don't.

Being single during the other holidays has been a welcome relief though, no pressure to buy lots of expensive jewelry that you really cant afford or plan elaborate valentines day surprise get-aways in constant fear that maybe you picked the wrong place! But yeah, New Years will be the worst if it ends up that way!
