I guess only psychaitrists are qualified; though many people seem to like to think they are experts!
However, the 'non-serious' mental illness of temporary circumstantial depression is something probably MOST of CS members have suffered at some point in their lives (the death of a loved one, relationship breakdowns, shock and depression following a serious accident or physical injury, etc).

Hmmmmm.... ok, but you didn't seem to understand that the thread was partially a joke, and also partially something worth discussing if you wanted to.
Very few people come and post seriously in these forums; they come to relax and chat and have a laugh.
I prefer to be serious, but I hate to be boring; I try and adjest to the company I'm with......... but sometimes I really do wish to be serious and then it's a little disappointing to get little or no response at all.
I apologise for being condescending to you.
