British Leader Brown was caught with a hot mike. Remember Jesse Jackson gaffe during Obama campaign? Same thing.

He had a mike on and did not know it was working....called a woman "biggotted". When she questioned his policies on east European entry into the UK. She immediate asked for apology. GOOD FOR HER!!!

She is Labour voter....that just became INP or a Tory.

Now Brown is profusely apologising....he should be profusely soon looking for new work.

There is not a reason in the world to call a fellow country man or woman biggoted or racially bias or such.

I bet this make the evening news in jolly old England.

About 24 hours ago the NYTime broke a story of how 8300 wound warriors were being mistreated. They were being moved around in the Army hospital system from hospital to hospital. Not getting proper treatment and were being over medicated with meds and pain killers. I was going to blog on it .....the day began...I needed to get other things done.

I read today in the military times....that the head of the wound warrior program was just released from his position by the
Obama administration.

Now maybe these 8,300 were being mistreated. I don't know. If they were, then letting this man go is the right decision. But I don't think that in 24 hour, the administration has had the time to check out a NYTime story to being viable.

NY Times has lost alot of readership in recent days....and is becoming more a tabloid with every day. Printing a story to inflaming American emotion about mistreatment to wounded vets, is surely one way to get readership.

But before the administration takes a man's career away....they should at least verify the stories main facts. Pretty hard to do in 24 hours.

I don't like the gov't covering a story nor do I like a story making a gov't decision. The gov't might have been investigating this situation prior to the NYTime report. Indeed leaked it to the NYTimes. So am willing to give a benefit of doubt till more is learned. But if the story made the decision, not the way to govern.

When I read the brief story on it here. I said to self...Brown just shot both feet with one shot....Which when you think of it, is pretty hard to do. You got to have them in the same place and at the same time. He angers the entire Labour supporters....calling one them biggotted. And missed the bigger issue of immigration to the entire country to get votes.

It is what we call ....a twofer. One bullet(Three words actually) two wounds.
