Which one is the best country in the world for Living ? (33)
Been to 36 countries, some a few times over - and lived in 3 of those : South Africa, saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
It depends what you like and what makes you comfortable, and your lfiestyle choices... The Middle East is very family friendly - and I did more there than I ever did in my own country. even dance lessons. It was too dangerous in my own country to go out at night - especially alone (and back home your gender made no difference - you were still targeted for crime).
I loved raising my children in the middle east. It's child friendly. I also wouldn't mind living in Malaysia or thailand. I found most other environments to be too harsh comparitively speaking. But I had a choice - I left my own country because of the aftermath of Apartheid and the crimewave. I am glad I moved the Middle East. Life was more pleasant and easier to do.
All the stress factors of living in South Africa were suddenly non-existent.. no commuting, no peak hour traffic and women were well taken care of .. I got used to that :)
