Is it? He is just asking people if they would date an overweight person and stating he wouldn't. Whats disrespectful about that? There are plenty of similar polls like would you date an older person, would you date a person of a different religion, would you date an unemployed person and so on, so why is this one disrespectful and not those?
His answer simply said he would not date an overweight person. I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of.

i think everyone be it man or women would like something differnet about their body or would like to have that perfect body,but as long as the person themselves are happy with their body and are comfortable meeting someone and their happy with what they see i think that important i personally dont go for looks it personality and honesty for me!!JMO

no i wouldn't go out with a girl who was really overweight firstly i don't find it attractive so it wouldn't matter if they were the nicest girl in the country, secondly there is a health issue and thirdly i think it says alot about someones personalityI wouldn`t

areyoureadytogo: well people wouldnt smell if they showered every day no excuse we have plenty of water maybe thats their problem not everyone that obese smells i have met skinny people as well and they smell as well sweat etc
Showering daily doesnt always get rid of that rancidy smell, it may help for a a few hours but overweight people sweat far more than a person of average or below average weight so the smell returns quickly, ideally they need to shower twice daily to keep smelling fresh
