casinogirl: I loved being married, I was married almost 23 yrs before my husband died. Yes we had bad times but the good outweighed them. Its nice to know that your best friend will be there with you through the good and bad.

I've been married 3 times and even though i'm not married anymore i can't wait to get married agian. Pros - Taxes in the U.S., someone to talk to, hang out with naked, hopefully someone with no STDs, second income if they have a job, someone who actually care about you, kids. Lets face it we are not going to stay 18yrs old forever. Gravity and age does things to people and BF/GF might not stay around. The list goes on and on. Its a commitment to something.
Try this, go somewhere you never been and don’t know anyone there. Sucks until you talk to someone. Now take a trip home where your family is. They know you and like you. they will protect and be there good or bad. Don’t think a BF or GF will stand by you when the going get rough but when your married they will or should. Plus when they die you get all their stuff!
