at this very moment, I'm painting a room and I don't know what the heck I'm doing. Where does that put me?
PS: I have paint all over my clothes, but I did put on gloves.

DONTCOUNTMEOUT: Just thought about painting projects and people that helped me over the years and how their views and actual painting styles/abilities/ and sometimes having more paint on them then what we where painting. How it showed a characteristic connection in them. Just a mindless poll I thought might make you think about someone and if there is any connection between painting and personality.
Well this one person I new was a brilliant house painter, very swift and clinical, he had a massive diggerydoo with a ring in the end, played a mean bass guitar and had an insatiable lust for women.

I also wore gloves but I still can't understand how the paint still gets on my hands, and hair, and clothing, I guess thats why Prof painters have clothing-"which you can tell is used when painting. As for the Brilliant Painter, I have a friend thats like the person you describe, and he has always had a attractive woman or two around him whenever he's out and about, I do wonder though if hes bartering for his painting skills at times though.
