To talk about winning in Iraq.....is like placing salt into the thier wounds over losing Sadam (and the billions in EU trade that they were doiung with him). To see the US doing a $60b weapon deal with Suadi is like kicking sand in thier face at the beach.
The mere thought that that Iraq war has re shaped the middle east, brought about the present peace negotation between Israel and Palestine. Placed Iran on the defensive with American military presence on both side of it.
Is enough to cause many a liberal European cardiac arrest from stress related causes.
