Nah I try to keep on top of things and do a bit every day but if I dont do anything for a few days it does build up and theres only me living in the house

I tidied my room yesterday after it had been quite messy for a while, my eyes were extremely blurry

My house is a home first and formost, my older kids and niece who is 21 still talk about how I made my house into obstacle courses etc to play gladiators, american football, hide and seek (big style) etc etc. (oh nothing to do with the fact, i hate housework)

I so envy you!! I cannot function if my house is untidy it wrecks my head.......god love my poor children they are badgered to death

My kids might want to swap you for me for a week, just to get things sorted
The secret is you close the doors, so as long as the living room is reasonbly (reasobly is as good as it get's with me) tidy, you ignore the rest.
Seroiusly do you wana swap for a week, house could use a good clean, and you could continue with my decorating

Mine has the 'lived in' look.
It doesn't matter how much I do housework wise, the kids manage to get it all undone in double quick time when they get home from school.

re:cleaning....Think i missed out on an opportunity around a month back,got a mail from a submissive male gimp man thingy in full pvc outfit...
If i had of been thinking on my feet i could of had him round cleaning my house from top to bottom,shouting orders and standing on him with stilettos every now and then,as he had asked...fair deal methinks....
