Recently, I was put on a three day week by my employers to cut there overheads...and I loved it...... Having been continuously employed since 1977 in jobs (as opposed to a career) that have been long on hours and short on pay, i felt the break was acceptable... I got all those little things done that always get missed in the usual five day week routine... I had to review my outgoings and yes, there was some state money to go with my reduced salery, but for all that my family, dogs and friends all got more of my time, and i got a work / life balance that i really appreciated... So the question is, would you take a slightly lower standard of living to be a little more "time rich"...
