Meet all people with the intention of making new friends only, there can be no qualms from anyone if you are only making friendships, and make it clear you are looking for friends. Meet as many as you want and hopefully the law of averages will dictate that one will present him/herself sooner or later that makes a connection with you.

Jana I think it is a combination of what I think you might sound like, your pic and the slow certainty of your posts. Combined they do remind me of a comfortable cat lounging at full stretch in the sun.

Thanks Summer, I'm enjoying my time in Jakarta and may hang around a little longer. I have a visa run to KL in couple of weeks and as KL is only a short hop from Medan, I think I'll drop by to see friends in Beristagi and Danau Toba.
