RE: Theybies

Elegs, The world's gone mad mate!

From what I remember of childhood, we just did what we were told. Nobody was dressed in the other genders' clothes... it was mostly accepted that boys were boys and girls were girls!
Nobody told anyone what to do (if they did it would be rebelled against), we just did what we felt like
regardless of gender!

RE: Shortest day ...

Elegs? You will have it short. You will have it long. And you will still complain! laugh

RE: Your Personality Type

And your personality type is .... Steve Earle's Guitar Town!!! laugh

Nice to meet a fellow Steve Earle fan! I love the 'If You Fall In Love' and 'Hillbilly Highway', he can't put a foot wrong!

RE: Your Personality Type

Maybe a bit drunk and annoying, and listening to Steve Earle! wine

RE: Your Personality Type

My personality and type is hugely moving further away from yours... laugh

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

And, you're still so old with lots to say,
Don't ever give the game away,
Seems it's a lot of words to portray,
Don't be fooled, don't give your heart away!

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

Just kidding! It's nice that you look after animals and have an appreciation of nature and the worst side of me! wine

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

So why's your head still on? laugh

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

I don't want any presents! So how old's the turtle?laugh

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

Does that comment mean you've read my blog or just turned into a turtle? It's pretty handsome I must say...laugh

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

I thought they were from your own back yard! rolling on the floor laughing (not really!)

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

That's a stock photo that you got off the internet! laugh

RE: "SOME THINGS THAT ARE OLD"..("MICLEE"S 21st CENTURY")

So how old are you then?

RE: The miracle of the table cloth

I just got lectures about my Italian great-grandfather being a chef in some Russian war, many years ago... Kids these days can't relate to hardship and the basics of living (like when a piece of fruit was a wonder!) but it's a privilege to read your stories and I love your upstanding writing... Good health, wine

RE: "THE POWER OF CHRISTMAS EVE"..(2)

Yeah, let's have 'peace' for twelve hours or so, while the differing country's Sergeant Majors' have cigars and whisky with their enemy and laughing along they both realise... Set their men free and let them be the friends they should have all been in the first place!

RE: The miracle of the table cloth

Miracles do happen! That was a lovely thing to read. wine

RE: "SANDY HOOK"..("6 YEARS ON")

Yes I know these gun killings are premeditated, what I meant was that they can't be right in the head in the first place to even think of killing another human being, gun or no gun. What is it in their heads that makes them do it? To me it seems a gun is like a car, very safe until it is in the wrong hands. There are lots of idiots who shouldn't be allowed behind a wheel too but that's another subject.

Your other comment? I bet there are plenty of truck drivers who carry guns for self-defence for when they have to deliver to those dangerous areas. Sounds like a scary job at times, thanks for explaining. wine

RE: "SANDY HOOK"..("6 YEARS ON")

That could be said for all jobs these days (strange and unpredictable people that we may encounter), but in a driving job, the risk is there but at least you could drive away?

There's just no control. People are on drugs and alcohol and fly into rages with no thought of what they're doing to anyone... It takes thoughts to compose actions doesn't it? So does killing people take no thought but to aim and fire? A certain part of a brain must be missing to be a killer.

RE: "SANDY HOOK"..("6 YEARS ON")

"Only in America"... It's depressing. There must be parts where they don't feel the need to be armed?

RE: Connecting the dots...

This is really interesting.

RE: "RAMBLIN MAN"..("RAMBLE ON")..(183)

robrt787,

framing fingers isn't enough!

RE: "RAMBLIN MAN"..("RAMBLE ON")..(183)

That's interesting, hadn't heard of that. Being as it's usually men that do the poaching, why not employ women to get the information - for information alone.

RE: "RAMBLIN MAN"..("RAMBLE ON")..(183)

There's always religion! laugh

RE: doing some research online...one question struck me

Marriage isn't necessary if neither person wants to do it and two people cohabiting can be the next best thing with no divorce settlement or legal stuff to worry about if it ends. It's probably no benefit if a man marries the wrong woman (he'll find out the hard way) and if she's the right one it will only reveal itself in time... The same for women of course; love, chance and choices.

RE: This Is A Ship Shipping Ship

It all looks very shipshape...

RE: Steven Wright quotes

A very funny man! ??

RE: Haircut...

Who cares?

RE: Democrat calls for death of Republican's family. Now the typical norm for Democrats

Yes, I understand.
