From what I remember of childhood, we just did what we were told. Nobody was dressed in the other genders' clothes... it was mostly accepted that boys were boys and girls were girls! Nobody told anyone what to do (if they did it would be rebelled against), we just did what we felt like regardless of gender!
And, you're still so old with lots to say, Don't ever give the game away, Seems it's a lot of words to portray, Don't be fooled, don't give your heart away!
I just got lectures about my Italian great-grandfather being a chef in some Russian war, many years ago... Kids these days can't relate to hardship and the basics of living (like when a piece of fruit was a wonder!) but it's a privilege to read your stories and I love your upstanding writing... Good health,
Yeah, let's have 'peace' for twelve hours or so, while the differing country's Sergeant Majors' have cigars and whisky with their enemy and laughing along they both realise... Set their men free and let them be the friends they should have all been in the first place!
Yes I know these gun killings are premeditated, what I meant was that they can't be right in the head in the first place to even think of killing another human being, gun or no gun. What is it in their heads that makes them do it? To me it seems a gun is like a car, very safe until it is in the wrong hands. There are lots of idiots who shouldn't be allowed behind a wheel too but that's another subject.
Your other comment? I bet there are plenty of truck drivers who carry guns for self-defence for when they have to deliver to those dangerous areas. Sounds like a scary job at times, thanks for explaining.
That could be said for all jobs these days (strange and unpredictable people that we may encounter), but in a driving job, the risk is there but at least you could drive away?
There's just no control. People are on drugs and alcohol and fly into rages with no thought of what they're doing to anyone... It takes thoughts to compose actions doesn't it? So does killing people take no thought but to aim and fire? A certain part of a brain must be missing to be a killer.
That's interesting, hadn't heard of that. Being as it's usually men that do the poaching, why not employ women to get the information - for information alone.
Marriage isn't necessary if neither person wants to do it and two people cohabiting can be the next best thing with no divorce settlement or legal stuff to worry about if it ends. It's probably no benefit if a man marries the wrong woman (he'll find out the hard way) and if she's the right one it will only reveal itself in time... The same for women of course; love, chance and choices.
