I truly don't care what people think of me..what matters is what I think of myself. A person shouldn't let others determine how they feel about themselves.
My most favourite would have to be spending time with family and friends but I also love reading, writing, History, animals, nature, swimming, horseback riding, dancing, music, singing and movies
No matter where you go in life, whether it be here on this site or out in the big world we live in you're going to get hurt. It's a face of life. It's how you handle it that matters. Maybe you are choosing the wrong men. If a man can't handle the truth then he isn't worth your time. You just move on. If you delete your profile here it doesn't mean you're never going to be hurt. If there's something about your situation you don't like then change it.
We all go through some kind of heartache in our lives. The trick to it is to heal and move on. At least this experience has shown you that you have the capacity for love. One day there will come someone who will love and value you for who you are. Until that day be happy. No one is responsible for your own happiness but yourself.
I believe I wasn't born for this time. I feel like I should have been born when life was more simple and there wasn't as much technology. I'm told I have an old soul and this old soul doesn't always fit into today's society. There's nothing wrong with being alone. I find I crave it at times because my life is very busy. I have a large circle of amazing friends and a great family so I'm truly blessed but there are times when I prefer my own company.
I personally love the idea of "Love" but I don't think that two people can fall in love online without meeting. Sure, you can learn a lot about a person talking for long periods of time. You can feel care and concern about that person, but true love that leads to a proposal? I don't think so. I would want to spend time with that person face to face. I've talked to people online for long periods of time to meet them and realize they weren't the person they said they were. It's easy for people to be who ever they wish to be online..they can be that "perfect" person but when you meet they could be the total opposite. My advice to anyone talking to someone online is to get to know them through other avenues..talk on the phone, write a few letters and then arrange to meet before you talk of love and marriage.
Maybe women are looking for a man who can make them smile because their experience with men has been negative. We all love to smile and laugh. I would like to have a man who could make me smile for any reason..as I would like to make him smile. We all like to see the person we are with being happy.
In a man I like...honesty, romantic, loving, caring, someone who loves to hold hands and talk, an animal lover, dedicated, faithful and who would love me completely. I don't think that's a lot to ask for really.
