RE: Just did something I never thought I'd do.

Sweet Kitten 4, too many people offer their advice on the subject of romance. I only offer you my opinion and I do not mean it as advice. I have lived in this world for over 60 years and found that my best relationship began as a friendship. I think that to love is first liking a person, then trusting them, and finaly finding that life is less, in so many ways, without him. I believe that you were probably blessed when the man turned you down for coffee and he was being a gentleman. You see, someone of less character would have accepted the coffee date and taken advantage of your vulnerability. You are a lovely woman with much to offer your family and eventually a good man. I agree, when we are so hungry for affection we often attract the wrong kind of person. I am so proud that you are examining your approach and life. Please blog more, it does help to let your feeling out and while doing so, you can help other people see things that they are unaware. Thank you for sharing such a personal event.

RE: lol

How can you tell which one is remaining? Fish all look the same to me.

RE: Remember this one?

I agree, Stephen does have a good voice. But, the person who wrote this song should be highlighted. There is so much dept in the words. The words can be easily applied to everyone's life. Love it, keep posting!

RE: me real sad for i have not received a single serio

Wow. I read your complaint. I am sorry if you think that all the people in the world is a wholesome as you. I would suggest a couple of things, first readdress your photo. This one does not show the easy going person you are. The shadows on the face only show the doom and gloom. Try a smile. Also, my dear lady, searching for a military person on this site is a waste of time. When I was in the service, we were prohibited in responding to solicitation from foreign nationals. Try the local pub or better, try the churches. I am an American, and I am honest. So, not all of us are after your coffer. I wish you well and hope that you find the love within yourself and when found, it will reflect outward and draw other's love toward you.

RE: Life Is About Creating Yourself!

I read this when it was first posted and reread it today. And my only comment is that it is a lovely thought. Personally, I have recreated myself many times. Sometimes not very successfully and sometimes for the better. I have found that love is not a pursuit, love is inate and lives, sometimes poorly, but lives within each of us. Each person we meet and greet, we change not only ourselves but their lives too. Not getting into it too deep, but we can not take a breath that has not been exhaled by another, drink a ounce of water that has not been already consumed and processed by someone/something else. We are all interconnected and whether we live well or a less than a saintly life, we leave behind a legacy. Strive as you may, you can never be an island alone and untouched. And yes, the only person we can change is one's self. I wholeheartedly agree, search inside yourself and find the best of what you have and nuture it, feed it well and let it grow. But as you chase the nobility of yourself, remember that life is funny. Stop and appreciate it, see the humor that is all around you. Your smile or lack thereof is what people will remember most when you too become one of the departed.

RE: I Need A Hug!

I am not into women, but I can feel your pain. There are so many things that are positive....for example, you have awsome arms...guns! Better than M. Obama!
