well, in my case if someone visits my profile i have 3-4 of my recent pics there, and everyone knows that the guy on my profile is a famous actor Ken Wahl, I am not using it to gain attention to my profile, my intention is to give him a tribute to my all time fav.
And i feel nice to has his pic on the profile, rest my profile is very transparent.
I am sorry about the experience you had!...i agree with you for transparency!
I was too desperate when i came here, i though CS or other dating site will do some magic and i will get what i want but.........
So i changed my approach, i will stick here and let the Special happen if it is meant that way, not a rocket science! just a piece of advice "be patient!"

Choco, he is Ken Wahl, he did a serial name Wise Guy, and a movie too, unfortunately he had an accident which crashed his career!... i really think he had all the ingredients of becoming a BIG name
